New Years bring along with it a sense of resolutions and plans of what you want to accomplish. With the start of a year comes a fresh slate to make it what you want. 2016 for me was one of many beauty purchases. I became a part of the Sephora Rouge club and thankfully, Target doesn’t keep track of beauty purchases otherwise who knows what tier I would be. A resolution for me was to really organize my stash and make a visual journal of what I own so that I could optimize my usage of products I already have. As I began to organize, I became overwhelmed by the sheer amount of product I have. That is what led me to decide that 2017 I want to focus on using what I have and reviewing that versus trying to constantly buy every single new item on the market.
I begin this “no-buy” year by just taking it a week at a time so that I don’t get overwhelmed. I am sure I will make purchases along the road but I do really want to maximize usage of the many products I already own. Hopefully, writing it down will help keep me accountable.
