At times, all the sales and deals get overwhelming and instead of being able to find something for everyone on your list, you are missing out on gifts. Here are a few suggestions for last minute gifts for anyone on your list.
Limited edition products such as these Ouai fragrances make for a great buy as they are available for a short period of time. The Ouai is one of my favorite hair care lines and I was thrilled when they released these scents. My birthday is on December 31st so I picked up all four as a gift to myself! North Bondi sold out almost immediately and the rest are available in a limited quantity and will not be restocked so if someone on your list wanted these, I would not hesitate to pick one up at all.

My love for face masks has been well documented, they are most definitely my favorite skincare category. They signify for me taking a moment for myself and just remembering to breath and relax while indulging in self care. These Borghese mini face masks* are the perfect token to any skincare lover. These also make for great gifts for co-workers as the price point of only $12. These were made as a Macy’s exclusive and at the time of this post, they are available on sale for Buy 2 get 1 free.
I believe that I am in the minority when I say that I don’t enjoy baths. I am and always have been a shower person. While for people who enjoy baths, there are so many great holiday kits, I was so excited to get my hands on the Aromatheraphy and Associates Ultimate Well Being Set*. These essential oil blends are perfect for use in a shower and envelope a sensory experience. Available at Space NK, the packaging is like an elevated box of chocolates because the inside cover has the details of each blend.
A gift that you can find at every budget is a candle. The price range is so vast that you can virtually find a candle to fit your needs. T.J.Maxx/Homegoods/Marshalls are great to stop in for a variation of great scents and packaging. I reach for my Bath and Body Works candles to burn on a daily basis and I love the variety of options available. Commodity candles are great for a mid-range option and my personal favorite is Oolong. Nordstorm has some beautiful candle sets available from Nest, Voluspa and Diptyque that are worth checking out. For the ultimate luxury, Byredo and Tom Ford would go on my list.
I feel that 2018 was the year of hair tools really making a buzz, specifically with the Dyson Airwrap. While that is near impossible to find in stock anywhere, a hair tool that I am obsessed with currently is my Dry Bar The Brush Crush Heated Straightening Brush. I am perhaps the laziest person when it comes to doing my hair and with this brush, I can do my hair in about 6 minutes. For reference, I have fine curly hair and I find that it stays straight for days after. I will use the brush to add volume and it keeps my frizz at bay. The Dry Bar brush is meant to be used on dry hair so I had to mention my absolutely stunning T3 Cura Luxe Professional Ionic Hair Dryer. The black and rose gold accents make it a beautiful addition on my vanity while delivering a powerful blow dryer that has a nifty auto-pause feature. The hair dryer is a bit of a splurge but it is currently on sale at Sephora!
While T3 and Drybar have some great products, that price point is higher than what some may want. In comes Kristen Ess‘ line available at Target. I have not tried any of her beautiful hot tools yet but they catch my eye every time I am out doing my Target run. I picked up two of her newer sets and at $14 each, they are very fairly priced. Target often runs promotions so you can pick them up even further discounted like I did. I have been wanting a silk pillowcase for a while but could not stomach the price point so I am glad to finally be able to grab one. If you absolutely waited until the last minute to pick up gifts, these are an easy find as Target is widely accessible.
What are your favorite items to gift and receive during the holiday season? I would love to hear from you in the comments. I hope everyone has a safe and happy holiday season and in the end of everything, it is not the presents but the gift of time we give one another. Thank you for gifting me your time. Happy Holidays!
